At First Baptist Church Denton it is our purpose to love and serve the Lord, so we can reach and influence our community and the world for Christ. Out of our love for the Lord and through His power at work in our lives, we seek to enlist, equip, and encourage all people in their personal relationships with God, through Jesus Christ.

Puggles (Age: 2 years)

Come join in with play time, songs and simple crafts and activities each week. The children are taught age-appropriate lessons using large, colorful teaching cards, finger puppet plays and more. The lessons teach four basic biblical precepts that God Made Everything, that God Saw That It Was Good, that God is Love, and that We Should Give Thanks.  Take-home cards corresponding to each week's lesson help parents to reinforce the lesson and to grow their child's faith at home.

Cubbies (Age: 3–4 years)

Our Cubbies anxiously wait for each Cubbies meeting. They love the funny puppets, games, and playing with their Cubbie friends. Through funny puppet stories and Bible stories, Cubbies learn about God, the greatness of His love and His Word, and about His Son, Jesus, the promised Savior. With help from their parents, the Cubbies hide God's Word in their hearts while learning about the Gospel.

Sparks (Kindergarten–2nd Grade)

Sparks love their red vests, exciting games, and spending time with their friends. Each week the Sparks work through their books exploring people from the Bible, memorizing Bible verses and completing book activities. The Sparks club is divided into three levels. The first is HangGlider. The second is WingRunner. And the third is SkyStormer.  These books, along with the lessons, open the wonders of the Bible to the Sparks.

T&T Clubbers, full of energy, begin their adventure through God's Word.  The T&T club is divided into 2 parts. The first part sets the T&T Clubbers on the adventure and the second part challenges the T&T Clubbers. The T&T Clubbers participate in exciting games on the Awana Game Circle, listen to thought-provoking Bible lessons and work through their handbooks memorizing scripture and learning to apply the lessons to their lives.

These Clubbers are challenged by memorizing scripture, exciting games, thought-provoking lessons, and the greatest challenge, leading and teaching younger children through their handbook. The Clubbers learn to apply biblical concepts to current day life.
